I am truly sorry to hear what you and what I assume now your husband are going through. I wanted to offer a thought, though he may have the diagnosis for ALS typically Lyme disease has been misdiagnosed as ALS, MS, and numerous other problems. I suffer from Lyme and was misdiagnosed for 3.5 years with a positive blood test and I don't remember having a tick bite. Many of the Lyme tests have a high number of false negatives so a negative test doesn't mean anything, I would just encourage seeing an LLMD (Lyme literate MD) to see if long term antibiotics could be all he needs. If you're interested in researching it I'd recommend "Under our Skin" a documentary

http://www.youtube.com/movie?v=RlvDVTKbNMQ&ob=av1n&feature=mv_sr

I hope this is helpful.ekt19591https://www.blogger.com/profile/05768520997731867930noreply@blogger.com
